How many appointments can your market actually produce?

Pick your territory and ideal client. We count the real businessesthat exist there (US Census, not population guesses), then predict your monthly cold-calling funnel — dials → decision-maker conversations → set appointments — adjusted for your market, your industry mix, and (if you want) your company’s own web presence. Every number is an honest range.

Why this exists

The Lead Calculator tells you how many leads you need. This tells you how many your territory can give — and what actually moves the number: market size, regional call culture, industry receptivity, gatekeepers, your local presence, even your Google reviews. If the two numbers don’t meet, better to know before you spend.

From a revenue percentage, in the first 12 months after partnering with Marketopia, we increased our monthly recurring revenue by 37%, and we added about $1.2 million in standard revenue.

After signing up with Marketopia, the leads just kept coming in and coming in and coming in — so much that we had to actually dedicate a salesperson to follow those leads.

Frequently asked questions

Where do the business counts come from?+
The US Census Bureau's County Business Patterns — the government's actual establishment counts by metro area, industry, and employee size. We show it as a range: the high end is every business that exists; the low end is how many are reachable in commercial contact data right now. Most calculators fake this with population math — we did too, once, and stopped.
Why is every number a range instead of one number?+
Because a single number would be a lie. Cold-calling outcomes depend on factors we can measure (your market, industry, company sizes) and factors we can only estimate (market saturation, your reputation). Measured factors move the estimate; estimated factors honestly widen the range. When you unlock the free scan, real data about your company replaces estimates and the range tightens.
Where do the connect and appointment rates come from?+
They're calibrated to real campaign results — roughly 5–12 booked appointments per 2,000 dials for a typical ICP — from Marketopia's US call center, which dials for MSPs every business day. Then they're adjusted for YOUR situation: market size, regional call culture, industry receptivity, company-size gatekeepers, local presence, and (after the scan) your website and Google reviews.
Why does my website affect a cold-calling prediction?+
Because prospects Google you the moment they hang up. A strong site and solid reviews convert "maybe" into a held meeting; a weak one quietly kills appointments you thought you set. That's why the free scan measures your real site speed, security posture, marketing signals, and Google reviews — and folds them into the prediction.
Do I have to give you my email to see results?+
No. The prediction runs and shows you the ranges with no email. Unlocking the free scan (which tightens the ranges with your real data) asks for a work email — that's it.
What if the prediction says my territory can't support my goal?+
Then you just saved months of finding out the hard way. Widen the ICP, add a metro, or adjust the goal — the math recalculates instantly. That's the point of the tool: size the program to the market before you spend on it.
